Back in January I posted a link for a “Lung Cancer”
Fund-raiser and to show my support, love and respect for my dear friend Robin Cecil, who has been battling brain and lung cancer for two years.
Cancer is a disease that unfortunately affects not only the patient, but everyone around from family, friends, neighbors, co workers.
Even I had to come to terms and accept that the day would come that I’d get that call. When you love someone so dearly, its hard.
My friend Robin has always been tough, independent, and strong.
What Robin had endured over the last two years with treatments and the side effects, takes a tremendous amount of strength. Robin’s will to live, so she could fight another day was an inspiration to so many, myself included.
I am proud and excited to announce that my friend Robin is in “REMISSION”!
This is truly nothing short of a miracle, as she was advised over and over again by more then one Doctor, that remission was not a possibility.
Robin, does have more healing to do, build her immune system, take a huge sigh of relief, and take it easy.
But I wanted to share this amazing news, and to remind us all of this one simple fact.
Never give up hope, never give up faith, fight each day. When you get to where you want to give up, then you have to dig real deep down inside, and fight.
Robin, is by far the toughest, strongest woman I am proud to know, and an inspiration to others to never stop fighting, never give up!
