Blog of the Year 2012

Blog of the year award

Blog of the Year Award banner 600

Several weeks ago I addressed a few awards that I was given as far back as this past February.  After I posted those late awards, it occurred that if I really want to make it right to my fellow peers, then I need to take a few minutes to thank the following three bloggers who nominated me for “Blog of the Year 2012″ award. So out of six possible stars, i ended up with four. Since we are in the year 2013 and this is the fourth time I have gotten this award, I want to make sure to give these three individuals proper credit, and urge all of you to check out their sites. All unique, different, with each persons touch.

Lasesana, has a very unique site she is from Colombia, a Maryland attorney, reader, and she likes to write about all kinds of topics that interest her. She loves to cook, garden, ride her bike…She has also been a Spanish teacher,  and a bartender. Lasesana has a passion for travel and scuba diving, and her passion shows on her blog..

Teresa, like myself loves, loves, loves to cook. Teresa started her blog a few months before mine, she loves to talk food, teach others to cook and at the beginning of this 2013 she has posted a lot of “gluten-free” recipes. The pictures she takes while she is cooking just pop out at you and she is the kindest women and one of the first bloggers, I’ve had the pleasure of talking to. Teresa is not your average foodie, so head on over and die of hunger pains…lol…jk For anyone wanting to go gluten-free give Teresa a shout out!

I am not sure if this site is run by one person or if it is a collaboration as this page is in Italian. I’ve read some really cool articles on this site via google translate. In fact I follow several blogs from various parts of the world using google translate. With Tuttacronaca they cover the cinema, economics, world news, comics, lifestyles and many more topics. I have always believed I was Italian in another life, and when I came across this site I was hooked!  Tuttacronaca is another blogger that has followed me from my humble beginnings. So the next time your browsing blogs and an image catches your eyes, but its in a foreign language. Don’t exit out, pull up a translator and take in another country, language, customs, culture and enjoy

The ‘rules’ for this award are simple:
1 Select the blog(s) you think deserve the ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award
2 Write a blog post and tell us about the blog(s) you have chosen – there’s no minimum or maximum number of blogs required – and ‘present’ them with their award.
3 Please include a link back to this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award – and include these ‘rules’ in your post (please don’t alter the rules or the badges!)
4 Let the blog(s) you have chosen know that you have given them this award and share the ‘rules’ with them
5 You can now also join our Facebook group – click ‘like’ on this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award Facebook group and then you can share your blog with an even wider audience
6 As a winner of the award – please add a link back to the blog that presented you with the award – and then proudly display the award on your blog and sidebar … and start collecting stars…
I chose the awards according to categories I like and read about frequently: cycling, food, photography, and everything else.
